Having reached its 33rd edition, the Fair is the most important profile event.
The purpose of this fair is to serve as a perfect meeting place for various players in the tourist industry and the adjacent domains, as well as for the public to get familiar with the available tourist packages. 260 companies working in the travel field will compete in hopes of convincing the visitors to choose their vacation offers. For the most part, the participants will be locals, but a third of the companies that will exhibit their products are coming from 14 countries abroad.
The organizers promise that the firms that will present their offers will lure potential clients with discounts of 10%, up to 50%.
A novelty of the present Romanian Tourism Fair edition is the presence of the Travel Stock, meant to reunite various companies working in this domain. Apart from the showroom dedicated to tourism, Romexpo will also host two other saloons, one dedicated to sports and one nautical.
Prime minister Victor Ponta is expected to attend the opening of the show. The opening hours of the fair are from Thursday to Saturday from 10 to 18 and Sunday from 10 to 16. The price of an entry ticket is 5 lei/ day.
