Dear friends, we meet again with a review of the last days with some essential insider news: auto sales increase and Black Friday.
Lately, we’ve focused quite intently on the dynamics of petrol and on the effects of the decrease of the price of oil on the price of petrol; we have also talked about car sales and registrations. The end of November brings with it news regarding auto sales, which have reportedly increased by 25% in the past 10 months. The less than happy news, however, comes from national manufacturers, who have decreased in production by 4% in the same time span.
All in all, Romania (already post-crisis) is enjoying a good moment in the automotive sector, occupying a third place of honor in the top boosts throughout the European Union. This increased targets the number of registered units. The most popular option on the local market remains Dacia, with 22.497 units sold during the last 10 months of this year. Volkswagen is considerably down in line, with little over 7000 pieces. The Dacia Duster model has registered a record production of 142.466 segments manufactured in Mioveni, most of them destined for foreign markets. (According to information from Ziarul Financiar).
The increase in car offer and demand in Romania is for the most part a reason for celebration, signaling an increase of the business.
The second piece of news that is all around the newspapers is also reason for celebration… for “shopaholics” at least. November brings a new Black Friday. Spectacular discounts or just another reason to promote your business? This matters less than the “shopping hysteria” (or “shoppers’ hysteria”) that has been long awaited, particularly by online shops. Dozens of online shops and “normal” shops take part in this shopping marathon on Friday, November 21st (and probably next Friday November 28th for most shops).
How best combine these news? Simple: you can rent a car and go on a shopping marathon through the stores and Malls in you town this Friday!
