Bucharest days in December: a list of events you can attend
On the 1st of December, of course, we will all say, “Happy birthday, Romania!” si “Best wishes, Romanians!” Beyond views for and against nationalism, our National Day is a reason to celebrate, especially since it is a bank day for most employees. Military parades, fireworks and private parties will take place in Bucharest and everywhere around the country.
Also from December 1st, the Capital of Romania becomes the capital of fashion until December 6th. Mainly the representatives of the beautiful sex are invited at Ambasad’Or Otopeni for the Bucharest Fashion Week festival, where 30 Romanian and foreign designers will display their creations, giving us a glimpse of what’s in store for next year.
Vienna Clasik Orchestra comes to Sala Palatului on December 3rd and on the 4th, we welcome the Christmas Trees Festival.
Would you like to go to the concert? The famous Christmas Concert by Stefan Banica Jr. is scheduled for December 12th this year. On the 13th, you are welcome to attend the event Fun with Flowers at the Smart Change teahouse, where you can find the best ideas for tasteful interior decorations for the season. And on December 14th, let yourself get carried away by the divine music of the Madrigal Choir. Stefan Hrusca will perform on December 15th at Sala Palatului, while Gheorghe Zamfir will be at the same location on the 18th. The same evening, you can alternatively go to a Directia 5 concert at the Cinema Patria.
After Christmas, you can enjoy the melancholy Fado music on December 28th along with Ana Moura. The Romanian Orchestra is going to offer a majestic concert to welcome the new year on December 30th and on the 31st, you can go out with your friends to celebrate New Year’s Eve!
