While enjoying the last days of the year, we are making plans for the New Year’s Eve and, why not, even for the first trip for 2015. We have a suggestion to put on your list: Oradea City, first appearance at the Ferien Messe Viennese Fair.
If Oradea has not enjoyed that much exposure so far from the point of view of international tourism, the town is now ready to welcome its visitors with arms wide open (and with a decent infrastructure), especially after Januray 2015, when it will be represented at the International Fair Ferien Messe in Vienna as a perfect place for a healing city break.
What are the elements that make the city on the Cris such a healing place? Well, the organizers and representatives bet on the historic center, the geothermal water and the cosmopolitan air given by the multiple events that take place here.
Along with Oradea, the organisers wish to promote Baile Felix as well, as they deserve to enjoy more popularity, like in the good old days. Therefore, between January 15th and 18th 2015, Oradea (and other Romanian cities) will be promoted at Romania’s stand at the international fair. Oradea can be present mainly due to the hard work of the Oradea NGO for promoting tourism and many other partners. Oradea will enjoy the status of a partner city. This gives it the right to promote its attraction through ads and a live talk show.
Among the local tourist attractions you can visit in Oradea, you can always count the beautiful monuments, such as the City Hall, the Catholic Episcopal Palace, Deutsch House(with its floral gables), The Ady Endre Museum in Traian Park or the Apolo Park. An intercultural spot, meetingplace for several cultures and religions, you can stop by churches of most any rite in Oradea. You can then enjoy the Bazaar and walk through the large parks.
Inside the town, to admire all its beauties, you can always rent a car and save a lot of time.
