Tourist Attractions in Sibiu

The Great Market in Sibiu – by far the best pace to start exploring the city. Originally, the market was a cereals market. Later, executions, public gatherings and carnivals were organized here. The square is surrounded by the oldest buildings of the city, over 500 years old, still perfectly maintained.

The Brukenthal Museum – situated on one side of the market, the facades of the museum were built in a baroque style, while the interior combines the baroque and the rococo.

The Small Market – made up of buildings with archways and located behind the Great Market, this is the place where you can visit countless museums and galleries.

The list of places to visit in Sibiu certainly does not end here, but we leave the rest as discussion topic for another time.
