Isn’t it true that you missed an interesting piece of news about the local car manufacturer, Dacia? Well, 2015 has brought about good news for the Dacia employees.
The company’s administration and the Dacia Sindicate have negotiated a salary increase for operators and TESA personnel of 150 lei and 100 lei respectively. The parties have also agreed on a performance bonus for the previous year 2014 with a value of 1410 lei to be offered in May 2015. The workers in the Mioveni factory will also enjoy present coupons worth 70 lei for the official holidays.
These measures were implemented following previous tensions between the Sindicate and the Administration. In the remote event of a strike, the local manufacturer will decide on the following measures together with Renault.
Dacia is a Romanian brand; and a successful one at the moment. 2014 was a golden year for the Romanian car producer company which reached a record sales number of 511.000 units. In the country, Dacia has a market share of 30%. The main marketplace is France (around 105.000 units). The most popular model of last year was Sandero. The Sandero Stepway also attracted much attention at several auto shows and was a bestseller. Duster occupies the second position. In Romania, the most popular model is Dacia Logan, also sold in Eastern Europe.
The Mioveni factory is one of the most dynamic on the continent, registering a growth of almost 20% in 2014, as opposed to the previous year. The manufacturer hopes this upward trend will continue this year. Dacia is already a well-known international low cost quality car brand.
Thanks to the Rabla Program, local sales have been high during the last year. Dacia is also available if you want to rent a car online to test its performance.
