Summer is approaching with huge steps and this year, after ages of crisis, we just want to relax and enjoy as many wonderful events in the coming months. So here are the most anticipated events and concerts in Romania 2, the continuation of our discussion of a few days ago.
If last time we took the time to explore the options available in Bucharest for the second part of the month of May and the beginning of June, today we move forward to talk about the next events, concerts and vernissages we can enjoy in the near future.
On June 4th, you are welcome to join the party at the Roman Arenas in the capital city for the One Republic concert. They are one of the most popular pop-rock bands of the moment and this is the first time they are in Romania, to promote their latest album, “Native”.
Of course, musically speaking, June is dominated by the concerts of Andre Rieu (scheduled in Bucharest, in the Constitutiei Square, betwen 5 and 7 June and 11 and 14 June). Initially, the artist had signed a contract for just one concert in Romania, but because the tickets for the event were sold out in one single hour, 6 more concerts were scheduled for the prestigious violonist and his orchestra.
Al Bano and Ricchi e Poveri will give a concert on June 11th in Cluj-Napoca, on Cluj Arena.
In Craiova, students are very active and they are organizing the ROCKMOTIVA event on June 7th.
July comes with its share of surprises as well. In Bucharest, between 6 and 8 July, you can attend the music festival B’estFest, included in the top 20 best European festivals.
Also is July, at Biertan, Sibiu, you can take part in the film festival “Full Moon”, the only one in the country exclusively dedicated to fantasy and horror movies.
And between 24 and 26 July, you are again invited in Sighisoara for one of the most anticipated events in the calendar, the Medieval Festival. If you need a car, you can book with Sibiu car rental.
